Hans Ibelings is a Dutch historian and critic of architecture. In the 90s, known primarily for his studies of contemporary architecture in Netherlands. In 2005 he founded the A10 - new European architecture - a magazine ambition of which was and still is presentation of architecture from Western Europe but also Central and Eastern Europe. Hans Ibelings is author of many important books on architecture, including annuals of Dutch architecture, a few monographs of Dutch architects (Coenen, Soeters Van den Broek & Bakema) Supermodernism, or the last one: European Architecture Since 1980. Hans Ibelings often analyzes unpopular and niche architectural trends as well as works of forgotten architects.
